The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change in the prices of goods and services commonly purchased by people in the province of Sultan Kudarat continued to decrease to -0.8 percent deflation in April 2025, compared to -0.2 percent deflation recorded in March of the same year. This brings the provincial average inflation from January to April 2025 at 0.1 percent.

SOCCSKSARGEN’s Exports of goods and services to Rest of the World (ROW) posted the highest growth among the expenditure items in 2024 with 25.0 percent. This was followed by Gross capital formation, at 12.9 percent; and Imports of goods and services from ROW, at 7.5 percent.

The economy of the SOCCSKSARGEN Region grew by 5.5 percent in 2024, faster than the 3.5 percent growth recorded in 2023. Mining and quarrying posted year-on-year growth of 277.2 percent in 2024. All other industries recorded growth during the period, including Human health and social work activities, at 14.2 percent; Accommodation and food service activities at 12.7 percent; and Professional and business services, at 12.2 percent.
