The headline inflation or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket of South Cotabato increased further to 6.0 percent in July 2022 from 4.8 percent in June 2022.

The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistics Services Office (PSA-RSSO) XII will host the 3rd PSA Directorate Meeting on 16-19 August 2022 at The Farm, Brgy. Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. The Meeting is held every quarter. Asian Development Bank Ave., Quezon City.

In October 2022, the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) will celebrate the 33rd National Statistics Month (NSM) carrying the theme, “Boosting the Country’s Recovery with Informed Decisions, Better Policies” signifying the importance of informed decisions and better policies in pump-priming the country’s socioeconomic recovery from the impact of the pandemic.

Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket for all income households in SOCCSKSARGEN Region moved at a faster pace of 7.0% in September 2022 from a two-month sustained inflation of 6.6% the previous months. This is 0.1 percentage point higher than the national inflation of 6.9% for the current month under review. Inflation for the first nine months of the year averaged at 5.2%, almost mirroring the national average of 5.1%.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII will conduct the Regional Dissemination on the 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics on 25 October 2022, 9:00 AM at Avior Hotel, General Santos City. This activity aims to disseminate to the general public the results of the 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics in SOCCSKSARGEN Region.
