Starting February 2021, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the monthly Labor Force Survey (LFS) in between the quarterly rounds of the LFS pursuant to PSA Board Resolution No. 08, Series of 2020 – Approving to Conduct of the Monthly LFS. The February 2021 Labor Force Survey (LFS) will be undertaken from 08 to 24 February 2021.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII recorded a total of 519,098 registrants for Step 1 registration in Region XII or about 74.63% of the target individuals belonging to low income households as of 02 March 2021.

05 April 2021 – SOCCSKSARGEN Region. The Philippine Statistics Authority XII extended the PhilSys Step 1 Registration in its Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs) to cover more registrants. The assisted Step 1 Registration is extended for 23 more mandays from 05 to 30 April 2021, not only in Region 12 but also in all provinces and cities/municipalities in the Philippines.

Regional Dissemination on the Results of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH)

Satisfaction rating of the census serbilis outlet in General Santos City slightly declines by 0.7 percentage points, from 86.7 percent to 86.0 percent in the recent survey conducted in December 2017. While there was an increase in the dissatisfaction rating with 1.4 percent compared to the last round with only 0.8 percent. A faint increase in the rating of undecided clients was also observed with 12.6 percent, up by 0.1 percent from 12.5 percent.

PSA-SK Launches the 2018 Civil Registration Month

On a Year-on-Year comparison, commodity groups under Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels posted the highest CPI of 214.5 while Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco posted the highest increment of 7 index points from 204.5 in 2016 to 211. 5 in 2017. CPI for All Items went up to 173.3 equivalent to 3.2 percent increase from 2016.
