The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII will spearhead the observance of the 32nd Civil Registration Month (CRM) in SOCCSKSARGEN Region. To kick-off the celebration, an Opening Ceremony will be conducted on 03 February 2022 at Paraiso Verde Hotel, Koronadal City. Highlights of the said activity include Civil Registration Quiz, presentation on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in SOCCSKSARGEN Region and announcement of CRM schedule of activities.

In the First Semester of 2021, the Region of SOCCSKARGEN had a small decrease of poverty incidence of 0.1 percent from 27.2 in the First Semester of 2018 to 27.1 in the same period in 2021. This is equivalent to a decrease of around 13,000 families from 313,700 poor families recorded in 2018. In the same period of 2021, a family of five in SOCCSKSARGEN needs an income of around 11,081.90 to be able to meet its food and non-basic need. First semester per capita threshold was recorded at 13,298 in 2021.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will be conducting a geotagging and delineation of Enumeration Areas (EA) for the development of the Enumeration Area Reference Files (EARF) as part of the preparations for the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) in February 2023. The activity aims to update the post-processed statistical data and geospatial information collected from various vital censuses and surveys of the PSA. These updated data will be integrated into the current GIS-based census maps of the office which is paramount to the organization's goal of technological advancement.
