Koronadal City, South Cotabato – December 16, 2024 – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII successfully conducted its 13th General Assembly at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. With the theme "Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit PSA," the event brought together around 170 personnel from the Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) XII and its four provincial offices. The assembly's activities were facilitated by the regional office, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and enhance the agency's resilience and adaptability for future challenges.

Sultan Kudarat
The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change in the prices of goods and services commonly purchased by people in the province of Sultan Kudarat slightly increase to 1.1 percent in December 2024 compared to 0.9 percent recorded in November 2024. This brings the provincial average inflation from January to December 2024 at 3.9 percent. In December 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 6.3 percent.
Sultan Kudarat
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the January 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) from January 08 to 30, 2025. The LFS is a comprehensive nationwide survey of households conducted by the PSA aimed at collecting information on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. The data gathered from the survey offers insights into key labor market trends such as participation in the labor force, unemployment rates, hours worked, and the previous industries and occupations of individuals who are currently unemployed.
Sarangani
The inflation or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket for the bottom 30% income households or the low-income group in General Santos City declined to 1.4 percent inflation in November 2024 from last month’s inflation at 2.0 percent. This was lower than the regional and national levels at 1.9 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively. Moreover, the rate was lower by 3.8 percentage points from a year ago of the same month at 5.2 percent. The average inflation or the year-to-date inflation of the city was recorded at 3.7 percent.
Sarangani
The annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket for the bottom 30% income households or the low-income group in Sarangani Province dropped to 0.3 percent in November 2024 from last month’s inflation at 1.5 percent. This was lower than the regional and national levels at 1.9 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively. Moreover, the rate was lower by 6.3 percentage points from a year ago of the same month at 6.6 percent. The average inflation or the year-to-date inflation of the province was recorded at 4.6 percent.
Sarangani
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Sarangani reaffirmed its commitment to advancing data-driven governance by successfully conducting the Municipal-Level Training, Coordination, and Field Visit on the Adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) on 06 December 2024.

The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change in the prices of goods and services commonly purchased by people in the province of Sultan Kudarat slowed down to 0.9 percent in November 2024 compared to 3.2 percent recorded in October 2024. This brings the provincial average inflation from January to November 2024 at 4.1 percent. In November 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 7.0 percent.
Sarangani
The headline inflation or the annual rate of change in the prices of goods and services in the market basket in General Santos City retained its level at 1.2 percent in November 2024 from the previous month October 2024. It was lower than the national level at 2.5 percent and the regional level at 1.7 percent. The city level average inflation from January to November 2024 stood at 2.9 percent. In November 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 4.1 percent.

The headline inflation in Sarangani Province dropped to 0.5 percent in November 2024 from 1.2 percent in October 2024. This was lower than both the regional and national levels at 1.7 percent and 2.5 percent, respectively. In November 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 5.4 percent. The provincial average inflation rate for the last eleven (11) months of the year registered at 3.7 percent.

Sultan Kudarat
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Sultan Kudarat Province officially released the results of the recently conducted compilation of the 2023 Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) of Sultan Kudarat Province through a dissemination forum on December 03, 2024 held at Carlito’s Hotel, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. This activity was graced by about 70 participants coming from the various government offices and private institutions in the province. Moreover, the presence of the six members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Sultan Kudarat made the event even more significant.
