The PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office facilitates the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) in LGU-Lambayong on January 25, 2024 at Datu Kusay Hall, Municipal Hall, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat. This is in preparation for the 2024 CBMS national rollout.

In preparation for the forthcoming 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System national rollout, PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office spearheaded the convening of Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board (PCCB) on January 24, 2024 held at SP Hall, Provincial Capitol, Sultan Kudarat.

The PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office led the convening of the City CBMS Coordinating Board (CCCB) of LGU- Tacurong City on January 25, 2024 held at HRMO Office, City Hall, Tacurong City.

The PSA-Sultan Kudarat led the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) convening in LGU-Columbio on January 18, 2024 at the Conference Room, Columbio Municipal Hall, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat. The activity was conducted in preparation for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System rollout.

The Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board (PCCB) Sarangani convened for the first time last January 26, 2024 at JLC Building, Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, Alabel, Sarangani Province. The PCCB was the last convening (9 of 9) conducted in Sarangani Province and General Santos City by PSA Sarangani and PLGU. CBMS in the 7 municipalities of Sarangani Province is funded by the PSA. A total of 406 CBMS personnel will be hired for the 2024 CBMS.

To facilitate smooth and efficient conduct of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) rollout in Sultan Kudarat Province, PSA-Sultan Kudarat led the convening of Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) of LGU-Kalamansig on January 10, 2024 at the Multi-Purpose Building, Municipal Hall Compound, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is set to conduct the EA Delineation for the Development of 2024 Enumeration Area Reference File (EARF) for the 2024 Community-based Monitoring System and Census of Population (2024 CBMS-POPCEN) field operations. Among the key preparatory tasks for this is the creation of accurate and reliable Enumeration Area (EA) maps and the subsequent final Enumeration Area Reference File (EARF). These resources will play a vital role in facilitating the effective planning and execution of census field enumeration activities.

The headline inflation in Sarangani decreased further to 4.7 percent in January 2024 from 5.1 percent in December 2023. This is higher than the national and regional levels at 2.8 percent and 4.1 percent, respectively. Inflation rate in January 2023 was higher at 8.2 percent. Average inflation for the first month of the year was observed at 4.7 percent.
