Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa visited Region 12 on Friday, 18 October 2024 to oversee the ongoing data collection of the 2024 Functional Literacy, Education, and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS) and data processing of 2024 Census of Population - Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS). His visit highlighted the importance of accurate and timely data collection and processing of data in shaping the region’s future.

The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO XII) strongly warns the public against online scams spreading in social media sites promising Php 5,000 cash assistance for National ID card holders.

In line with Section 11 of Republic Act No. 11055, otherwise known as Philippine Identification system (PhilSys) Act, all registered persons are required to update the necessary information in case of change in or correction of entry/ies in the information collected and stored under the PhilSys. Pertinent thereto, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has fully implemented the availability of updating services to the general public.

The Digital National ID is the official digital version of the National ID easily accessible through computers or smartphones with an internet connection. Like other formats such as the National ID and printed ePhilID, the Digital National ID is a valid proof of identification and age that can be presented in any government or private transactions. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), launched the Digital National ID, along with authentication platforms, National ID eVerify and National ID Check on 10 June 2024.

Kidapawan City, Cotabato. – Now in its 13th year, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII successfully held the Annual Statlympics on 29-30 October 2024 at the Elai Resort, Hotel, and Recreation Center in Kidapawan City. Koronadal City, South Cotabato – The Philippine Statistics Authority XII conducted the 28th Philippine Statistics Quiz held on 08 November 2024 at Mapa Hall, PSA RSSO XII Office. Twenty schools in SOCCSKSARGEN Region participated in the said event.

The Philippine Statistics Authority- Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office (PSA-SK) in partnership with the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat through the Provincial Planning and Development Office, successfully conducted the 28th Philippine Statistics Quiz- Provincial Elimination on October 25, 2024 at SP Hall, Provincial Capitol, Sultan Kudarat.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office is set to release the results of the 2021-2023 Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) of Sultan Kudarat Province compilation through a dissemination forum on December 03, 2024.
