Fisheries production in SOCCSKSARGEN Region reached 92,470 metric tons in the 2nd quarter of 2020, up by 23.0% from the same period in 2019. Among the four (4) provinces in the region, only South Cotabato has posted an increase in production when compared to the same period last year. At 86,702 metric tons, South Cotabato accounted for 93.8% of the total regional fisheries production during the review period.

Inflation Rate for the Bottom 30% Households in July 2020 for SOCCSKSARGEN Region eased to 3.6 percent, decreasing by 0.4 percentage point from 4.0 percent in June 2020. Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco had the highest annual increment among the commodity groups at 26.7 percent in July 2020 maintaining double digit gains recorded in June 2020.

Dipping by 4 percentage points from 25.9 percent in August 2020, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco still posted the highest price gains among the commodity groups sustaining a double digit record at 21.9 percent.
