The number of constructions in the third quarter of 2020 registered a total of 297, translating it to a 17.4 percent annual increase. However, during the second quarter there was a tremendous drop of about -21.8 percent from the registered number in the same period in 2019. In the third quarter of 2019, the number of construction also registered an annual decline of - 26.7.percent annually. (Table A)

Inflation Rate for the Bottom 30% Income Households increased by 5.6% in January 2021 from 4.6% in December 2020. Transport recorded the highest inflation rate sustaining a double digit figure of 28.2% along with Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco at 19.1%.

This indicates that the average retail price of commodities that were included in the market basket for all goods and services for the month under review was higher by 33.6% compared to its prices in its 2012 reference base year.

In February 2021, Inflation Rate for the Bottom 30% Income Households increased by 6.7% from 5.8% in January 2021. At 33.5%, Transport recorded the highest inflation rate sustaining a double digit figure from 32.5% in the previous month along with Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco at 19.1%.
