The province of Cotabato has recorded a total of 7,363 registered deaths by Usual Residence and 6,824 registered deaths by Place of Occurrence for year 2019. It is an implication that there were residents of Cotabato who died outside their place of usual residence.

Highlights of the Municipality of Libungan, Cotabato Population based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH) The population of the Municipality of Libungan as of May 1, 2020 was 56,269 based on the result of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH). This accounts for about 3.77 percent of the population of the province of Cotabato (North Cotabato) in 2020 which was 1,490,618.

Cotabato (North Cotabato) Consumer Price Index Survey of Retail Prices of Commodities conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has generated a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 140.1 for Cotabato (North Cotabato) as of August 2021, using 2012 as the base year. This implies that the cost of a basket of goods and services commonly purchased by a typical Filipino household in Cotabato (North Cotabato) province was at an average price of 140.1 as of August 2021.

Average Wholesale Selling Price of Cereals The average wholesale selling price of cereals in Cotabato Province show decreased except Corngrits white in 2nd quarter of 2021 compared to the same quarter of 2020. The recorded decreased, as follows; Well Milled Rice (WMR) showed the highest downscale from PHP 42.60 to PHP 36.60 with -14.08 percent. It is followed by Regular Milled with -14.90 percent decrease from PHP 41.13 to PHP 35.00. Rice Premium follows with -10.86 percent decrease from PHP 44.20 to PHP 39.40 while Rice Special has one digit decrease of -7.22 from PHP 45.27 to PHP 42.00. Meanwhile, Corngrits White is the only cereal from among the five cereals which showed an increase in its wholesale selling price in the province. It increased from PHP 26.07 in the 2nd quarter of 2020 to PHP 34.09 in the 2nd quarter of 2021 or 30.76 percent. (See Figure 1.)
